Dental Examination

A Dental Examination is recommended every 6 months and crucial for screening any potential issues that could become problems. After a thorough examination we can then create a tailored treatment plan and preventative advice to protect your smile.

Emergency

A Emergency Dental Appointment is advised when you need to see a dentist right away due to a lost filling or in pain. We will diagnosis the problem and can offer treatment within the same appointment.

Scale and Polish

Professional Mechanical Plaque Removal, also known as a Scale and Polish/Clean is recommended every 6 months or every 3 months for patient's with gum disease. Look after your smile by ensuring calculus is removed and keeping your gums at their best health.

Air Polishing

Air polishing is a dental cleaning technique that uses a specialised device to blast a stream of air, water, and fine powder onto teeth to remove surface stains, plaque, and other deposits. It's a gentle and effective method for brightening smiles.

Dental Filling

It is important for your dental health to clean out tooth cavities formed by caries (tooth decay). Once cleaned out, we can then fill them with a composite filling to protect the structural integrity and health of the tooth.

Composite Bonding

We can also use composite for building up worn teeth or enhancing the shape of teeth, which is known as composite bonding. This can be an alternative to veneers made from porcelain.

Root Canal Treatment

If tooth decay has reached the nerve of the tooth, which can cause tooth pain, then a root canal treatment would be recommended to save the tooth. This can usually take multiple appointments to ensure the tooth is free of infection and filled correctly from the root to the crown of the tooth.

Extraction

If tooth decay has reached the nerve of the tooth, which can cause tooth pain, and the tooth cannot be saved, then a tooth extraction would be recommended. We make sure you are fully numb before starting so that the treatment can be done as comfortable as possible.

Crowns and Veneers

If a tooth has fractured or has lost more than 50% of its tooth structure, then a lab based restoration would be recommended to save the tooth. Depending on the covered tooth surface required gives the name of an inlay, onlay or overlay. A crown covers the entire surface of the tooth and a veneer covers the front part of the tooth. A veneer can be made from porcelain, an alternative to composite bonding.

Dental Bridge

If a tooth cannot be saved and needs to be extracted (removed), then a fixed replacement option like a dental bridge can the solution to restore function and aesthetics. A bridge involves treating teeth adjacent to the space to create crowns (caps) to bridge across the space.

Dental Implant

If a tooth cannot be saved and needs to be extracted (removed), then a fixed replacement option like a dental implant can the solution to restore function and aesthetics. A dental implant is a surgical procedure to integrate a titanium fixture to act as the root of a tooth and this is later restored with a dental crown.

Denture

If a tooth cannot be saved and needs to be extracted (removed), then a removable appliance can be fabricated to give back function and aesthetics. This is in the form of an acrylic or chromium-cobalt denture. This can take multiple visits to fabricate but can provide a non-invasive option to restore missing teeth.

Night Guard

A Night guard is designed for people that suffer from night time bruxism. The appliance allows the mastication muscles to relax, reduce pain and to protect the teeth surfaces from occlusal wear.

Retainer

There are different types of retainers such as fixed and removable. We offer essix and vivera removable retainer options as well as fixed wire retainers. These appliances prevent teeth from moving as you age.

Are you Private Dental Practice or an NHS (Mixed) Dental Practice ?

We are a fully private dental practice, and do not offer NHS dental services.

What kind of treatments/appointments do you offer?

We offer general and cosmetic dentistry services. From dental examinations, cleans, fillings, root-canals, extractions to Teeth whitening, dental implants, composite bonding and Invisalign.

Appointment types we offer are:

-clinical examination
-urgent appointment
-Invisalign consultation
-implant consultation
-smile consultation
-whitening consultation
-direct access scale and polish
-direct access scale and polish with air polishing

If i need a filling or in pain, what kind of appointment should i book ?

We would recommend an urgent appointment, which is where we look at the specific problem and then hopefully treat it the same day. The cost of the urgent appointment is £55 and this includes a periapical x-ray to assess a single tooth or few teeth in the area as well as a diagnosis and treatment plan. Any treatment selected from the treatment plan by the patient will have it's own cost on top.

Can i book my appointment online?

Yes, we provide online booking as well as booking your appointment over the phone or within the practice.

Are you wheel-chair accessible?

Yes we are and we provide disabled bathroom facilities.

Do you have onsite parking?

Yes we do, we have plenty of parking onsite and we are located close to Fosse Park Shopping Centre in Leicester.

The dental plans are designed to save money for routine dental appointments. The equivalent cost of a dental exam, when part of the annual plan, is £40 compared to £70.

There are monthly and annual options, with the annual option being the most cost effective choice, that gives maximum value and has not changed in price since we opened in 2021.

Monthly essentials plan is £15 a month and does not include the very first checkup. It does include the checkup in 6 months time along with two sessions of dental cleans and 10% off any selected treatmentThe annual essentials plan is £162 and is the same as the monthly plan but it does include the very first checkup, and therefore better value for money.

There is a perio-support dental plan for people that suffer from gum disease, which gives 2 more hygienist appointments compared to the essentials plan. There are monthly and annual options here as well.

Perio-support Monthly plan is £24 a month and does not include the very first checkup. It does include the checkup in 6 months time along with four sessions of dental cleans and 10% off any selected treatment.

The annual perio support plan is £252 and is the same as the perio support monthly plan, but it does include the very first check-up, and therefore better value for money.

These dental plans are different from finance plans. We offer a finance facility designed to help spread the costs of selected dental treatments, with 0% interest over 12 months. Interest applies for periods longer than 12 months, and a finance application is required.
