Some of our patients hadn't been seen in over a decade before they walked in. Nobody was told off, nobody was rushed, and nothing was done on the first visit that they hadn't agreed to. We're not here to judge — we're here to help and problem solve. You set the pace, and if you want to come in, sit down and only talk, that's a perfectly reasonable appointment to book.

Dentistry has changed alot with the technology and techniques we use compared to the old ways in the past. We are more the preventative generation that focuses on preventing problems from arising in the first place. This makes life easier compared to leaving problems to become more complex and harder to treat. Five things you can hold us to

01 — Nothing happens without your say
We explain what we'd like to do and why, and you decide. If the answer is not today, that is the answer. No treatment begins in the same visit as the diagnosis unless you want it to.
02 — You can stop at any point
We agree a signal before we start — usually raising a hand. When you use it we stop, not "in a second". Knowing the off switch works is what makes most people able to sit through it.
03 — We're not here to judge
Whether it's been two years or twenty, we're here to help and problem solve. We're interested in what to do next, not in what should have happened sooner — and most people find the list shorter than the one they'd imagined.
04 — Ask for a morning slot
Our own advice: book first thing. Waiting all day with an appointment hanging over you is its own ordeal, and getting it done early means you spend the rest of the day having already been rather than dreading it.
05 — Costs written down, in order
A written plan showing what is urgent, what can wait, and the cost of each part — plus 0% finance over 12 months if you'd rather spread it. No pressure to agree in the chair.
