FILLINGS

Composite (White) Fillings

A filling involves removing any decay and replacing the lost tooth structure with composite, amalgam or glass ionomer filling material within the cavity in order to protect the tooth. Cost varies depending on the size/area/ of the tooth that needs treating along with the type of material.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENTS

Incisor/Canine - £600

Premolar.           - £700
Molar                  - £750


Once pain has set in, the nerve has been compromised and a filling alone will not work. A root canal involves cleaning, shaping and filling the root of a tooth in order to save the tooth. A  final restoration will be needed such as a filling or a crown.

When a tooth cannot be saved due to extensive decay, an extraction would be required to stop tooth ache, preventing the spread of infection and allowing the area to heal.
